How It Works
Dog-Trotters covers primarily Godalming and the surrounding areas. We include the following villages in our catchment area; Farncombe, Binscombe, Compton, Busbridge, Witley, Wormley, Milford, Hambledon and Hascombe. If you have any queries about the areas we cover, please to do not hesitate to get in touch; we may still be able to incorporate your dog into our walks even if you do not live in an area mentioned above.
The dogs are picked up and dropped off using safe, kennelled transport, and we ensure their water is refilled and muddy paws dried off when they are dropped home. Dogs are walked for approximately 45 – 50 minutes through local countryside, and including driving time are out and about for around an hour and twenty minutes. Walks include Farncombe Hill, Hydons Ball, Hambledon Church and Witley Common, among others. We walk the dogs in groups of four to six at varying times of the day, and prefer to walk them off-lead as they then get the chance to run around and socialise with the other dogs. However, if you are concerned about your dogs recall or the risk of them catching a scent and running off, we’re more than happy to keep them on the lead.
We are happy to provide an 'ad-hoc' service as well as a regular service, so if you only need us occasionally this isn't a problem. Similarly, we are very flexible, and are usually able to accomodate you if you get stuck at the last minute or need to change your regular days at short notice.

Other Services
Dog-Grooming
All dogs are treated with patience and care, especially nervous or anxious dogs. They are given time to get used to their surroundings and are rewarded throughout their grooming with praise and affection. Nail clipping and ear cleansing is included in the groom when necessary, and appropriate shampoo and conditioner is always used for their type of coat. Whether you want a full-blown pampering session for your dog, or a simple bath and blow-dry, all options are available to you; simply e-mail or phone for a price (they vary depending on the breed and size of your dog, and what you would like done) and appointment time.
Puppy Visits
If you have a puppy that’s not yet old enough to go on proper walks, or an old or infirm dog that can’t manage the longer walks, we provide home visits too. This involves coming to your house and letting the dog out into the garden, have a bit of a play with him/her and feeding too if necessary. We will time these visits to suit your needs as best we can.
Cat Feeding
If you go on holiday it’s often easier for your cats to arrange someone to come and feed them regularly rather than place them in catteries. This is also something we can help out with; please phone or e-mail to find out more.
